Just a quick reminder about our Special Event on Saturday 8th December. Charisma is joining forces with Spangles for this special day. This is the final Charisma Beadshow in 2018, our Silver Jubilee year. Our final discount voucher for the year will run until 16th December and further details are available here. Also, after 16th December our P&P charges for UK customers (we have been heavily subsidising these during the promotion) will revert to the usual sliding scale.
Spangles sell Beadable items and the pattern leaflets for them as well as a vast array of beading books and accessories. Charisma will be showing all our Miyuki beads and accessories as well. There is still time to book onto Carole’s workshop and I will be demonstrating throughout the day as well. Meanwhile our husbands will be ‘manning’ our stalls!
For this special event we will be in the main hall at the Westmill Community Centre. The full address is: Westmill Community Centre, John Barker Place, Hitchin, SG5 2PG. John Barker Place is off Westmill Road. There are regular buses along Westmill Road and further details can be found at http://www.intalink.org.uk/
Please feel free to bring your work and join us for an hour or six of beading, knitting, crochet or whatever rocks your boat and chat. The kettle’s always hot and biscuits are provided. If you come for the day please bring your lunch. Pass the message on, it’s all free!
What happens after 16th December? We go on holiday! We will be back at our desks, rested and refreshed (grandchildren and grand-dog permitting!), on 7th January 2019. Plus, every order received between now and 16th December will have a little surprise gift from us to say ‘Thank You’ for your continued support and loyalty. Yes, sometimes Christmas really does come early!
In other news, many of you have seen our new range of folding scissors when you have visited us at the many shows and fairs we have done during the year. Those of you who visited us at The Big Bead Show may have caught a quick glimpse of a range of dark coloured bead mats that I have managed to produce. I’ve been playing with this on and off for many years now and have finally managed to produce some dark colours that I am happy with. These are now posted in the webshop but will always be available on a limited basis (as are the 15/00 Charlottes) so keep your eyes peeled!
Looking forward to seeing you all at Westmill Community Centre. Vivien and Richard
